Ilka won the the World Pole Sport & Fitness Championship in doubles category with Barbara in 2011 and 2012. They also won the European Pole sport Championship in Rome, 2012 September. She started pole acrobatics in 2010, at Dollhouse Budapest, without any dance, gymnastics or performing arts background. She used to work as a landscape architect and made plans for towns, parks and gardens, but since the summer of 2011 she is a full-time pole dance and aerial silk trainer.

While turning from a complete outsider into a world champion, her attitude remained the same: "It's about fun, the joy of movement: motion and emotion."

ADVANCED & MASTERCLASS

Lördag 19 januari 15.30-17.00 Ilka Bardóczy 'Motion and emotion' 90 min

The workshop starts with a playful warm up to make ready both our bodies and minds.

Then we stretch and I show you a few releasing practices and some hardcore

pole power training-moves to have an active flexibility.

In the main part of the WS we go through some of my favorite tricks and combinations which are all about power and flexibility on the pole. I will also give you some exercises on the floor.

The WS includes double-tricks!

We conclude with a relaxed stretching so you can leave the class with a tired body but with a fresh mind (and with some new movements in your repertoire). All levels are welcome!
