Originally from Moscow, Russia, Katerina Troitskaya started her ascent into the arts world with ballroom dance at age 9. By the time she reached her late teen years she had discovered hip hop - an art form that would significantly change her life. Not long after, at age 20, her love for the dancehall genre was sparked. It's safe to say she hasn't looked back since. 

Over the past five years the 25-year-old has garnered a huge social media following, including more than 120,000 followers on Instagram and thousands more on YouTube. Along with her team of choreographers 'Dancehall Funk', she's been able to share her passion and rhythmic moves in collaborations with artists such as Shaggy, as well as other big names in the African continent (Davido, Yemi Alade). 

More recently Ms Troitskaya has shared her gifts with dance enthusiasts from around the world through intensive workshops and classes in dancehall and her favourite genre Afrobeats. She's showcased her talents everywhere from big cities like London, Amsterdam, Paris, Los Angeles to the small island of Bermuda - and worked with internationally renowned brands like Urban Decay Cosmetics and Pepsi, to name a few.
